La Maison de Marie-Therese is a small but comfortable stone built house in the centre of the lovely old hamlet of Fontcaudette near the village of Gordes, one of the most famous of the perched villages of the Luberon valley. There is local shopping in Gordes and an excellent Sunday morning market a short drive away at nearby Coustellet. The hamlet is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and cherry orchards and the house is ideally located for exploring this beautiful part of Provence . The local villages offer an excellent choice of restaurants and the area is exceptionally good for walking and cycling.
Further afield the attractions of Avignon , Aix en Provence , St. Remy and Orange together with the vineyards of the Cotes du Rhone and Chateauneuf du Pape are all within easy day excursion distance
