Le Mazet de Saint Antione is a spacious renovated provencal mas (farmhouse) located in a quiet area of the pretty riverside town of Isle sur la Sorgue on the edge of the Parc Naturel du Luberon. Isle sur la Sorgue is renowned for its antiques galleries and the charming town centre with its narrow little streets is full of interesting shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and good restaurants both in the town and along the riverside.

The house is in a tranquil location situation just a few minutes drive from the town centre. The lovely perched villages of the Luberon valley are a short drive away and day and half day excursions to Avignon , Orange , St. Remy and Arles are just a little further afield. The house is well located for exploring the Luberon valley and surrounding area or simply relaxing on the large terrace and peaceful garden.

The House

Le Mazet de Saint Antoineis a two storey south facing house with 5 bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to 10 people. The house is furnished and decorated in pretty provencal style. The dining room and salon open directly onto the large shady terrace overlooking the pool and private enclosed garden which is planted with roses, lavender, rosemary, cypress and olive trees.

The light and airy ground floor of the house is a spacious open plan layout of kitchen, dining area and comfortable living room with provencal fireplace. The well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge freezer, hob, oven and microwave. There is a separate utility room with washing machine and there is a separate wc on this floor too.

The house has five comfortable bedrooms, one on the ground floor with its own entrance leading from the terrace and an en suite shower room. The other four double bedrooms are on the second floor, one with its own en suite bathroom, one with an en suite shower room and the other two bedrooms share a shower room and wc.

The large vine-shaded terrace has an outdoor kitchen, built in charcoal BBQ and wc. There is lots of space for outdoor dining and relaxing either on the lawns or around the 10x5 metre swimming pool. The pool has an in-water security alarm. There is a small boules court at the side of the house amongst the olive trees. A television and DVD player provide additional entertainment and the house has a WIFI broadband internet connection.

A cleaning service is provided for the end of your stay. Please note bed linen and towels are not provided but if you prefer not to bring your own, these can be hired for a small additional charge payable on arrival. You will need to bring your own towels for the pool which is open from 1 May to 30 September.

Le Mazet de Saint Antoine is a relaxing base from which to enjoy the delights of Isle sur la Sorgue and to explore the Luberon valley and surrounding area.

The rent includes all services. A cleaner is provided for the end of your stay.

Booking Conditions

We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. A damages deposit of £500 is required at the time of final payment and is refundable after departure. Any breakages, etc. will be made against the deposit. A cleaning service can be arranged during your stay by prior arrangement at time of booking. Bookings are usually from Saturday to Saturday. In order to clean and check the house we ask guests to arrive between after 17.00 p.m. and to leave by 9.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from airlines, ferry companies, and the AA.
