Rental Cost

The rent includes all services including heating in the cooler months. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided for 4 people. There will be a slight reduction in the rental price for less than maximum occupancy, please contact us for details. Guests are asked to clean the house on departure.

Le Moulin de Félix is located in the peaceful countryside with views of the Luberon hills. It is 10 minutes drove to the village of Gordes, one of the famous perched villages of the area, Robion and Coustellet and a short drive from the market town of Cavaillon. There is local shopping nearby. Cavaillon has an excellent market every Monday morning and the hamlet of Coustellet just a few minutes drive away has a superb market of local producers every Sunday morning from April to November.

The House

The house forms the wing of an old restored farm. It is independent of the main house with its own separate entrance and terrace to the garden. The house is on two levels with beautiful white stone floors and all the rooms are exceptionally well furnished and decorated in charming provencal style. A particular feature is a lovely upstairs sitting room with views across the large garden with hundred year old olive trees to the Luberon hills beyond. The house has two double bedrooms, one of which leads off the upstairs sitting room and is accessed through the first bedroom.

The living room opens out onto the terrace and garden and has a settee and television (French channels only). The fully fitted kitchen off the living room has a hob, small cooker, microwave and fridge. The kitchen opens out on to a terrace leading to the garden and swimming pool. The bathroom is downstairs and has a bath, toilet and washing machine. A stone staircase leads upstairs to the main double bedroom with own separate toilet. This is a lovely light and airy room with double aspect windows over the garden. The bedroom leads onto the upstairs sitting room from which there is a smaller but very comfortable second double bedroom. The house is ideal for a couple but comfortably accommodates 4 people. There is central heating throughout.

The lovely garden is secluded and faces due south. There are plenty of pleasant sitting out areas and chairs and tables are provided for eating out together with a BBQ and hammocks between the pine trees. The 11x 5.5m swimming pool is surrounded by a large paved area with lots of sunbathing space and loungers are provided. The pool operates from mid May to the end of September. The pool is exclusively for the use of Le Moulin clients and the owners, who occupy the main house.

Bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own pool towels



Booking Conditions

We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. A returnable damages deposit of £300 is also payable at time of final payment. This is refunded after your departure once the house has been checked. All telephone charges, breakage's, etc. will be made against the deposit and the balance returned to you.

A welcome pack of immediate essentials such as tea, coffee, milk, etc. can be arranged if required for a small charge to cover the cost of the purchases. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. In order to clean and check the house we ask guests to arrive between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and to leave at 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from airlines, ferry companies, and the AA.
