To make a booking, in the first instance please e-mail or phone us as, although the availability shown on the web site is constantly updated, it is best to check that the dates you have chosen are still free. We can also answer any queries you may have about the house and area.
Once we have confirmed availability of your holiday dates, we request a deposit of 50% of the total rental cost in £sterling. If you are booking within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. Our bank details for bank transfer payments, are available upon booking. Electronic bank transfers, (wire transfers), are the quickest and most effective means of payment for us.
Upon receipt of your deposit, we send you a Booking Confirmation with details of your booked dates and date for payment of your balance. Your final payment is due 6 weeks before your arrival and should be sent together with a separate cheque for the refundable damages deposit if applicable (see individual house details). Upon receipt of your final payment we send you details of how to find the house/collection of keys together with information on ideas for visits and excursions and recommended restaurants during your stay. Your damages deposit is returned to you approximately four weeks after your departure once the house has been checked, less any charges for damages or telephone calls where applicable. Please note if payment is made by bank transfer from non-UK banks, bank charges will be incurred returning your deposit.
In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if 6 weeks or less before the start of your stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation.
