Le Moulin is located in the countryside in the small hamlet of "Les Vielles Blaces" near to and with views of the nearby village of Caseneuve in the unspoilt hill country of the Luberon. Caseneuve is a quiet and peaceful village, one of the most attractive in the area. The nearby town of Apt has excellent shopping facilities including an exceptionally good market every Saturday morning.

Good Cotes de Ventoux and Cotes du Luberon wine can be bought at any of the local Caves Co-operatives at the sort of price you dream of and there are many good restaurants in the area.

The House

This provencal house is part of a rambling restored farmhouse located in the countryside near to and with views up to the village and is completely independent of the main house with its own separate entrance and covered terrace. The pretty stone built building is on two levels and has a charming living/dining room with large provencal fireplace, a fully fitted kitchen and one double bedroom.  The house is delightfully decorated in provencal style with lovely terracotta floors throughout.

The fully fitted kitchen has a cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Leading off the kitchen is a large terrace with barbecue and a delightful aspect overlooking the countryside.  Great for sunbathing but with plenty of shade as well for the heat of the day in the summer. The double bedroom is on the ground floor together with the bathroom and toilet. There is a separate toilet upstairs.  All the rooms are attractively furnished and the house is ideal for a couple or a couple with small child with the use of a separate bed in the living room. There are electric heaters for the cooler months and the fireplace is fully functioning for log fires.

The large private terrace is very secluded and ideal for dining and sunbathing and chairs and table are provided for eating out.   This house is perfect for a couple looking for a good value quiet holiday in the beautiful Luberon countryside of southern Provence and is a delightful retreat at all times of the year.

The rent includes all services. *There is a charge for heating from November to April according to consumption.

Booking Conditions

We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. A returnable damages deposit of £175 is also payable at time of final payment. This is refunded after your departure once the house has been checked. All telephone charges, breakage's, etc. will be made against the deposit and the balance returned to you.

A deposit for cleaning is payable direct to the owner on arrival.  If you prefer not to clean the house after your stay this cleaning deposit is non-refundable but is refundable on departure if you do clean the house . Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.  In order to clean and check the house we ask guests to arrive after 16.00 p.m. and to leave at 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure

In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from price comparison sites, airlines, ferry companies, and the AA.
