Mazet Cypres is situated in a peaceful countryside location near to the lovely old village of Roussillon in the heart of the Parc Naturel du Luberon. With panoramic views right across the countryside, the house is a perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the scenery or as a base for exploring further afield. Nearby Roussillon has a good choice of restaurants and local shops and the town of Apt is just a short drive away with bigger supermarkets and shops. The house is perfectly located for exploring this lovely area of southern Provence with its pretty perched villages and beautiful countryside.

The House

Mazet Cypres is a recently refurbished cottage, very comfortably furnished and in a large enclosed and gated garden alongside, but completely independent from the owner’s house. It has its own private terrace and use of the swimming pool. Looking out over the beautiful countryside of the Luberon valley, the house has lovely open views both from the terrace and garden.

The cottage has a welcoming ambience and is well furnished throughout with everything you need for a cosy home from home in Provence. There is a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, electric hob and combi microwave oven with microwave and oven cooking facilities. A washing machine is also available for your use. The doors from the living room and bedroom lead out onto the large terrace at the front of the house with its shady pergola, relaxing sofa and outdoor dining table and chairs. The open plan living/dining room has comfortable sofas and a pretty dining table. The cottage has air conditioning throughout.

The house sleeps two people in a spacious double bedroom with en suite shower room with toilet. The double bed can be separated to make twin beds if preferred. Good quality bed linen and towels, together with pool towels are provided for your stay. For stays of more than one week, a change of bed linen is provided.

There are lovely garden spaces all around the house, all with superb wide open views across the Luberon valley and towards the Luberon hills. The garden is mainly grass with a pine wood to the side where a hammock swings invitingly for relaxing afternoons in the shade of the trees. The 7m x 4.5m swimming pool is to the side of the house and has its own covered seating area. Sun loungers are also provided.

The house has a television and DVD player for entertainment and an electric Weber BBQ. Linen and towels are included together with a cleaning service on departure. The house has broadband internet access with wifi and is air conditioned in both the living room and bedroom. There is private parking on site.

Please note the owners of this property can not accept animals to stay.

Mazet Cypres is a pretty provencal cottage in a delightful tranquil location with exceptional views with the added attraction of one of the most unique and charming Luberon perched villages nearby. Perfect for a cosy retreat for two.

Booking Conditions

We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking.

A damages deposit of £200 is payable at the same time as the final holiday payment. This is refunded after your departure once the house has been checked. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.  In order to clean and check the house we ask guests to arrive after 16:00 p.m. and to leave by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from price comparison sites, airlines, ferry companies, and the AA.
